We’re delighted to welcome Lorenzo Garcia-Iglesias of Bodegas Tradición and Patrick Mata of Osborne, who will be hosting this intimate dinner at Toro. A selection of the exclusive sherries from these two iconic houses will be showcased alongside traditional Spanish fare in this modern, industrial space in west Chelsea.

About the bodegas:

While there is no shortage of old wine in Jerez, the idea of dedicating an entire bodega to old sherry is still a radical one. The house produces a select array of VOS and VORS sherries, as well as an unusually old and complex fino. Only 12,000 to 15,000 bottles are released each year, each one bottled, labeled, and individually numbered by hand. These sherries are exceptional for their refinement and personality, all outstanding in their categories, demonstrating not only power and concentration of old wines but also an uncommon finesse and an elegantly detailed complexity.

Founded in 1772, Osborne is one of the most famous of all sherry firms, and its black bull logo is practically synonymous with the country of Spain. While the company is also well-known for its port, brandy and table wines, its origins lie in sherry, and its bodegas in the town of El Puerto house a vast collection of old and rare wines.

Bodegas Tradición imported by Skurnik Wines; Osborne imported by Ole Imports.
